FAQs
What to expect
Welcome to The Physio Lab, and thank you for choosing to partner with us to help get you out of pain, and back doing what you love. The road to recovery, rehabilitation and future-proofing your body starts today, and we’ve included some FAQ below for your information before your first session.
Having experienced the physiotherapy and sports industry across different regions globally, we noticed a common shortfall – not enough was being done on prevention or performance.
That’s why at The Physio Lab, we don’t just help you recover from injury, we aim to prevent further injuries, and get you performing at your best. Prevention, Recovery, Performance.
When you meet us, ask us about how else we can help!
If you have any further questions, please feel free to call us on 2537 9998, or email us at info@thephysiolab.fit.
What should I expect during my first session?
We start off by listening to your story and how your injury occurred. This will then guide our bespoke physical assessment to find the cause of your problem and explain our diagnosis to you. Some time for treatment and rehabilitative exercises will also be included.
What do I need to bring to my session?
Any medical reports, MRIs, XRAYs etc that are relevant to your condition will be helpful.
What should I wear?
Please wear or bring in something that you’d feel comfortable moving around in. Shorts and a T-shirt usually work just fine. Depending on the area to be treated, it may need to be exposed for the assessment and treatment.
Do I need a doctor’s referral?
If you have private health insurance, most policies will require a doctor’s referral to be able to claim some, or all of the cost of the physiotherapy session. If you do not have private health insurance, you do not need a doctor’s referral letter to utilise our services.
Do I have to pay a cancellation fee if I cancel my reservation?
If you cannot attend a session, please cancel with more than 24 hours notice!
Any cancellations done less than 24 hrs prior to the start of the session will be considered a late cancellation. We understand that life happens and so the first late cancellations shall be waived. Starting from the second time onwards, late cancellations shall be subject to 100% of the session fee.
What methods of payment do you accept?
